Whispr-Go combines shortcut-driven dictation, two explicit transcription engines, file tools, local history, microphone controls, and verified updates in one application.
Press a configurable global three-key shortcut once to record and again to finish. Whispr-Go attempts to return the transcript to the application and focused control captured when recording began.
Groq Cloud uses the customer’s own Groq API key. Faster-Whisper Local uses a downloaded model and does not send the recording to Groq. Whispr-Go never switches between them secretly.
Select a microphone, watch a live local volume meter, run a short local test, or transcribe an existing audio or video file.
Completed transcripts can be stored in a private local history. Updates are offered only after their signed metadata and installer integrity are verified.
